3) Attach a long
tape to the halyard shackle (if roller furling, attach tape to head swivel).
Hoist the tape
as far as it
will go and measure the following:
3a) to the bearing surface of sail tack attachment (if roller furling; on the roller furling drum). Max. luff length ________
3b) to the main shrouds/sidestay at the chainplate where it meets the deck (halyard height) ____________
4) For measurement 4, the tape should pass around the shrouds as if it were the leech of the sail. If you have two sets of tracks, we recommend that measurements for both tracks be provided.
4a) to the FRONT of the jib/genoa track _________
4b) to BACK of the genoa track _______
5) Attach
end of tape to intersection of the forestay/headstay and deck. Measure
the most direct path, making sure the tape is straight and not wrapped
around the shrouds...
5a) to the forward side of the mast at the deck (J dimension)________
5b) to the main shroud/ sidestay where it meets the deck at the chainplate
(main shrouds)______
5c) to the FRONT of the jib track (Genoa track) ________

6b) Measure the distance from the intersection of the headstay and the deck to the bearing surface of the attachment on your furling drum (drum height)________6c) Measure the distance at 90° to the forestay to the bearing surface of the tack fitting (tack back). _______
6d) Measure the distance between bearing surfaces of the halyard attachment and the sail attachment point (head swivel)_________
