#1 Lay Batten and batten
pusher out on top of the sail.
#2. Insert the batten into the pocket.

#3. Slide the batten into the pocket.
Be sure that the batten is in the elastic
at the end of the pocket.
You should be able to feel the stretch.

#4. Push the batten in hard
so that it is past the flap.

#5. Pull the leech down so that
the end of the pocket opens,
allowing the batten to slide into it.

#6. When you let go of the batten,
everything should lay flat.

REMOVING THE BATTEN:

#1. Grab the batten
and the batten pocket.

#2. Pull the sail towards the leech,
forcing the batten further into the pocket.
Pull the Leech down so that the end of thepocket opens, allowing the batten to slide in.

#3. Open the batten pocket
and remove the batten.
